ok time to update the build thread plans are:

4 banger, 5 speed, 231, 8274 and a rear winch

low pinion waggy width dana 44's f/r, the hogheads are stuffed with 5.89's and ARB's

38.5 TSL/SX's on 15x10 aluminum wheels

one inch daystar body lift (so i can have a flat belly skid)

4 link rear, 3 link front + tracbar

lower links are 2 foot long made out of 2 inch .25 wall DOM uppers are 3 foot long 1.75 inch .120 DOM , one end 2.5 Johnny joint and opposite end poly leafspring bushings cut down 2 5/8 all 9\16 bolts, using stock TJ springs f/r its pretty low right now I have about 22" of belly right now and i think I can go down to 20" without problems, when i started the build i was obsessed with keeping it stupid low but now i think I have came to my senses and fould a happy medium

wb is 99"

the jeep was hit in the driver rear pretty hard so I had to put a new quarter on it, it also buckled the floor in the cargo area so i decided this would be a great time to relocate the stock fuel tank so I cut out a section of floor that is the approximate size of the tank and plan on raising it about a foot.

and while I was hacking the floor i decided to put my upper links in the rear on top of the frame so I could achieve an acceptable amout of seperatin on the frame end for my links. I am glad I decided to do this because there is nothing hanging below my frame rails.

right now i need shocks, reamer for TRE's, tracbar and to build driveshafts

I have 2 questions

1. FOUND!!!!anybody have the part number for the full circle clips for the axlejoints?

Perfect fit full circle snap ring is a HD 1-3/16" (.056 thick) for the 760 u-joints.  Home Depot part is close.

2. is a rear cherokee driveshaft the same as a YJ rear shaft except for the length?

more pictures tonight
