That is very cool that you got some new shop equipment. That should help out a lot. I'm not sure how many guys are helping you or how many hours you are working on it each day, but it seems like it will be difficult for you to get in done in time for Supercrawl. I am currently building my buggy and spending about 40 - 45 hours a week working on it by myself. Right now I am farther ahead than you are on your buggy, but I wouldn't be suprised if it took me another month or more to build it. I guess I will just be suprised if you get it done in time and are able to test it before Supercrawl. I'm not trying to be negative, but I would hate to see you not have it done in time or go out there with a buggy that hasn't been tested.

If you have not registered for Supercrawl yet, call UROC because I know that there were spots open for east coast competitors even if they hadn't qualified.

Jesse you must work slow or something. Mike has only been working on it at night, after work, during comercials of monster garage. I think he has 4 hours total into it.

By the way you are a nay sayer and from what I can tell after 1 week, lots of progress, I bet he might get er done. I saw it when it was just a pile of straight tubes last weekend.

I will say that he is moving at a quicker pace than I am. I have spent a lot of time doing and re-doing to get everything just how I want it. Days go by and I can hardly tell what I acomplished.

Getting to the point Mike is at is not the hard part. The hard part is the finish work like floor boards, fire wall, brakes, pedals, ect. I just hope Mike has time to make a trip to the Badlands or something before Supercrawl.

Yeah, you're definitely moving way faster than I am. I mounted my steering column and my fuel cell today. It may have taken me 8 hours to do it, but damn it looks good. :P

Buggy looks great!

Is it hard to get into a new one and get the feel? I would think that it takes a few months just to get hand and glove with it?

Not too much real noticeable stuff today, but there was quite a bit done

Finished X behind seats
more braces on passenger side
Fornt stinger
3/4s of the fuel cell mounting
Some winch mounting (though might have to be messed with some more)
All the old link/shock/swaybar mounts on the axles that won't work with the new setup were cut off.
Front links shortened
Rear shock mount tabs made up

Thats all I can think of offhand
