Dont be starting nasty rumors UPkoktoy. I have only done slight modifications. Liek remove all the chrome. Kinda. Just some stuff to get me buy until I take it all apart this winter. This is what I am going to do to it. I am not going to use a rear Cafe style faring. I like the no rear fender look and I have some ideas on the tank to, but this is kinda the style I will turn it into.

It is on the list. I am almost done with my basement, I am starting to part my Jeep, then it will be bike time. I will have it done for spring (it only took me 2 years to get my basement done).

No. I had to wash my hair. This weekend maybe though!!! I have been riding it instead of tearing it apart.

Harley. Simply a float bowl gasket, but it was spewing fuel all over the place, so I stashed it at my parents house and stole the old mans truck to get home. I had been at the bar and didn't have any interest in explaining why I was having a bonfire on the side of the x-way to any cop.

I cut the back portion of the frame off behind the shock mounts. I also shortened and narrowed the stock seat pan for a tighter fit. I really hated the stock seat because it was too tall, wide and bulky. This is obviously a single seater bike now. I also lowered the head light about 3 or 4 inches and am lowering the instrument cluster as well. I am going to make a new battery box that will look like an oil tank which will allow me to get rid of the stupid plastic side covers. Pod style air cleaners, new wider tires and a few little things here and there and I will back to being a hard core biker. If all goes well I should be back on the road in a week or two.

Did I just put a time frame on my project!?!?!?!?! UHH OHHHHHH> :rocket:

If you can keep the stock airbox I would. Everyone I know that replaces the airbox with indivudal filters has jetting issues from there on out. I don't know if the 2 inside sylinders are starved for air or what, but if you switch to pods and it doesn't run right..... put the airbox back on.
