With the aftermarket pipes that are on my bike, I cant use one of the original hangers. I need to somehow attach something to the pipe to hold the front pipe out and away from my rear brake lever where it is hitting. I obviously dont want to weld on it, being chrome. Seems like that leaves JB-weld or rivets. Which would you go with? Think JB-weld will hold up to the heat?

working on shit is a pain in the ass when something has to be functional and look good haha.

Weld, then paint the bracket and weld silver or black.

Drill a couple holes on the side you need to contact the pipe with, and weld through the holes onto the pipe. Paint bracket and attach.
