The story starts out with us getting to the departure point late and the pontoon boat had already left. So, after trying 4 different marine batteries to get this fishing boat/dinghy started, Justin robs a battery from one of the cars in the driveway, which works.

We load up the cooler and other passengers and start putting out to meet up witht he pontoon boat since they didn't really want to come back to get us...

...and the motor keeps dying. Justin repeatedly has to hold the wires to the battery terminals (shocking himself a few times) while the driver restarts the motor and we go about 10-20 yards at a time, but it just keeps dying and bad fuel is blamed. After some cell calls, the pontoon comes and tows us out to the island to watch the races. Great weather, cold beer, drunk people smoking weed in the pontoons next to us, etc. All is well for like 4 hours.

Justin can tell Chapter 2 when he wakes up.

Justin is obviously still sleeping. The guy is tired, give him a break.

holy shit, I never come in the section and didnt see this thread until now.

end of story is....

My neighbor just turned 21 one month before this outing. his Girlfriend lives on the lake and supplied the pontoon and dingie in question.

I walked to Seans house (neighbor) about 11am with beers in hand. Woke his sorry, hung-over ass up, handed him a beer and said... "lets go the races". We got to Ashley's house (the girlfriend) about 12:30 and had the above issues with the boats and getting out onto the lake. Drinking the entire time.

Finally got out onto the lake and beached on one of the islands. after hours and many beers, Mark (pudpounder) needed to get back home so Sean, myself and mark got in the toon and began the voyage back to the house/car. About 3/4 of the way, we pass a OCS on a PWC. He whips around and asks us to stop. Turns out, the tags on the toon are bad. So... out come the questions and verbal drilling about life vests, throwables, have you been drinking..... etc.

long story short. Sean goes to jail for OUIL on a boat and 4 hours later mark gets to go home. :woot:

I also got quite the interrogation about the whole thing after I finally got home. :flipoff: Every piece of information I supplied about the ordeal was put under the microscope like it was CSI Pontiac Lake.
