If I only had a boat

I would put it in my garage where it takes up to much space.
I might even put a tarp on it.
My wife could store lawn furniture on it.
I would spend all winter working on the boat to make it cooler for next year.
Throw money at it.
Once in a while bail water out.
I may dream of removing the small outboard and fab in a healthy small block.
A top a trailer it would ride.
Beer O that BEER It’s not boating unless your good and drunk.
My friends all want rides.
Drive it around looking cool.
Look for new places to take it.
Join a web site to talk about boats. Even if every one doesn’t have a boat as long as they want one.

Who knows we may sell the boats and get back to wheeling. After all you live in Michigan and can only use a boat 2-3 months a year and you can do all the things I listed in a boat and a Jeep. :thumb:

Weird, I probably have more hours on my boat already this summer then you do on your buggy in the last 12 months.

AND

I have been using my boat since late march/early april already. I'll be able to use it through October, maybe later if we get a few warm days in November

I've been out in the spring and the fall. boating is more than just sitting around at the beach. Bad weather is my favorite.

I don't enjoy "bad" weather per say, but there is no reason I can't enjoy a 55 degree day with sun in the fall just like a topless jeeper or harley rider would :thumb:

It depends on if you get it running right or not.

No I really want a boat. They are fun I grew up on the lake too. But in a short time I'll have my rig down in NC with me. I've found lots of local spots, there is 53 acres next to my house. Also many other private spots. Can't wait

I should have said I enjoy the challenge of piloting in bad weather.

I also enjoy a hot day and heading out to a shallow wreck and doing a litte skindiving to cool off. Or heading downriver to have dinner in St Clair. maybe a cruise up to Lexington for dinner or ice cream, malk around let my wife shop then a twilight cruise back to PH. even sitting at the beach and enjoying the view

any scuba divers here?

there are some wrecks in lower lake huron. The st clair river is pretty cool, but a little tricky at times. It would be good to get a few dives in before playing in the river. If you are real at home in the water it is not to bad.
if you want to dive let me know.
