Ok, this was supposed to be done by the Chili run last year. Maybe it will make it this year.

Thanks for all of the help yesterday guys.
Running (fairly well, thanks Bones),
Exhaust,
Shocks,
Shifter&cable,
Tail lights (kind of),
Seats,
Rear caliper mounts,
Front driveshaft,
1/2 of a rear driveshaft,
Half of the brake lines,
All cooling lines,
Trans cooler,
Power steering res,
Hood pins (there sweet),
All completed

Yet to do- Finish welding cage, paint, mount to body
make harness bar and mount harness',
Let XJeeper finish cleaning up the mess that others made of the front end..... Steering is gonna work out perfect though
Change rear u-joint and install drive shaft
Install rear brake hose,
Install 1 front hose and both calipers (I can't find my calipers)
Install front driveshaft, need one CV bolt,
make t-case shifter, looks like its gonna be simple,
wire tail lights some day,
mount cooling fan,
Figure out why the damn transmission won't spin regardless of gear selection,
Getting there. Thanks again for all of the help guys!

Seems to be a serious problem with my transmission. The output will not spin. I removed the tailhousing and Park assembly and it still wont budge. I think the trans is headed south for a visit with Dr. Killer B. Justin and Casey were kind enough to donate some tube fenders which are sweet. I wish they would have done that before we installed the hood pins, but whatever. We bent up the rest of the harness bar and stuff so the cage can be finish welded and painted. I think I have enough 1.5" to make seat tie-ins first, which I might do to lower the seat height and increase headroom. Currently the trans and t-case are out so if I find a night or 2 to work on it I can finish the cage and finish the brake lines, and make the fenders fit.

The yoke on this 9" center section looks like a 1330 and is 3 5/8 wide like a 1330, but the saddles for the caps are 1/8 larger than 1330 stuff. I think I'm going to replace the yoke as I can't find a 1350 (what the d-shaft is) to 1330 with large cap conversion joint. The front shaft is complete and ready for install.

Its not gonna make it to the mounds this weekend, but oh well......

Woot! Only 496 days!

If you don't want to ship the trans down to Bill, there's a guy I know that does Chrysler trans work. Ask Bill about Mike if you want a reference.

I have the 904 still, when I bought it I was told it worked. I can't guarantee the condition though.

do you want to give it a shot?

I might even be able to birng whatever strangler brings you if its early enough.

Of course this all hinges on hoser loaning me his trailer for a mounds run since he is not taking his jeep.

I should be able to do it. Also, I am at the Milford Proving Grounds for the next 2 days and will be back in Plymouth on Friday. Does that help out in any way?

I'll be in troy wed night and then at the MPG every damn day of the week. If the trans can get in that general area I can transport it that leg.
