trailrail 2.0 early bronco build

Most of you know what I have been hording parts for. I bought a 74 bronco and stripped all the body panels, dash, hood windshield etc. I plan to stretch the rear quarters about 12-14" and have an overal wheel base around 110" ish. The idea is to build a frame/chassis and hang bronco skins.

I want to retain as much of the classic early bronco look as possible. So from 20+ feet it looks like a bronco untill you get right up on it.

Parts that will be used include:

3Valve 4.6 with GT500 eaton supercharger.
4r70 tans
not sure of which t-case
Dana 60's 4.88 gears lockers
coilovers and possibley bypasses
Trailing arms in the rear 4 or 3 link front depending on what I do for steerting.
(which based on room is looking more and more like it will be hydro again) I was really kinda wanting to do mechanical with hydro assist but....

Really wanted to do IFS but it is not fitting into the budget

The old Bronco is already stripped down. I have twisted stitch seats ordered and once they show up along with a extension housing for the trans I will sart building the frame.

Thats all for now

its not that its hard, its just a work computer and I dont want to have a bunch of my personal pictures on it. So for me its alot easier to upload from FB. Photobucket is blocked at work so I cant use that. and when I get home im never on the computer thats all.
However after this excersise it looks like I can lable each picture with the same name and replace the old one once its uploaded so it really only puts one picture on the computer :slap:

Nice dune bronco BTW. to bad your tires are on the wrong way :poke:

You can add pictures from FB, photoslut, flikr, anywhere by using the img button right above where you type your text, so you don't have to have a pic on your computer to post it. Just as good as CrackerBarrel's, just doesn't have the little mountain picture to click.

What he said was
Quote:
Thanks for the effort. Facebook isn't an image host so these photos don't work for non-facebook people.

Meaning: People who don't have Facebook accounts and are not signed in to Facebook will not see your lovely photos. Doesn't that crap site require a special link to share photos or the photos to be wide open to the entire planet for them to be visible anyway? You don't need to answer that, I really don't care how Facebook works.

I havent updated this in a while... mostly because I have not made much head way. I lost motivation for a little bit during christmas.
Here are a few FB pictures to get the build thread back on track.

I like the bronco skins. Why a three valve motor? That's alot of extra timing chain related issues that can be had.
