Well, it won't have airbags, so it should be safe.

Okay over the last two days I’ve been working on this thing…The electrical is complete and it RUNS!!! Yes I said it runs. Brakes are bleed and operational. Front bumper is built and fully welded. The main part of the roll cage is in and tack. Big thanks to Tommy, D.J., and Green for the help last night!

I can't believe you consider THIS a frame tie in! Well, what do you expect from the VW crowd?

wait, wat? thats not right? Well I'm glad you caught that one I thought it would hold, Casey said it would. Anywho still on track for trec Oct 2nd, however I have devloped a fuel leak at the carb. I bought a rebuild kit to see if this fixes it...if not I will not make the race unless anybody knows where I can get a solex 34 pict-3 carb in the next couple of days. I ordered the window nets and roll bar pading today, should be here tomorrow

Give a call to Barnum's salvage in Millington 989-871-4000, ask for Herman. He has a VW shop that he runs on the side called the buggy barn, and he will have rebuild kits to ready to run carbs for you immediately.

Sounds like a bucket of bolts held by bailing wire and binders twine. I'd scrap it now, before you embare-ass somebody.
