in order for it to work the high steer arms need to be 5.75" center of kingpin to center of heim. factory distance is 8"

this calculates to a 25% loss in power but also quickens the steering which I have kind of thought about doing anyway.

the only downside is while the truck is off it will require 25% more force to turn the wheels. as it is without the truck moving it feels like you are going to rip the steering column out  while the engine is on it has never been more than 1 finger to turn it.

try it and see or is there something I am overlooking?

why not?

the only real cost will be getting the shafts machined. the rest is just designing it in while I can.

it would also seem much smarter to get a 10 inch ram that way you dont loose any power either way i still think of r a normal old mall cruiser its pointless
