The wife and I went to the family cabin in grayling to have some fun on the base with the buggy and the snowmobiles...Dont worry none of the pictures are on snowmobile trails they are all on the base.

If a trail ride was planned for that area in March.... is there enough legal wheelin to keep us entertained? Trail guide?

Thanks hoser, the cabin is pretty cool, we go alot in the summer also and have a bunch of kayaks for the river
 + kayak + + river +    = GOOD TIMES :thumb: .

As for the Iroks I thought they did pretty good in the snow they wanted to dig alot at low rpm but once you hammered it they seemed to get on top and float pretty good. They definetly peeled out but it was 10-18" of soft powder so I would not expect anything less. Of course the only other tire I have had in snow is the boggers and we all know how they work!

There are trails all over on the base it is very big I think it is about 15,000 acres pretty much all is legal unless gated off. (for fire ranges and whaty not) provided you are a registered vehicle and have plates insurance ect. the only down fall is the funner sections are kind of spread out. The trails in the summer are very easy as my SD can go through all of it but there are some pretty decent hills to climb when they are covered in snow. I would have to scout out an actual trail run to see if it would work out, like I said alot of the funner spots are spread out and take a little bit to drive to but I think it would deffinetly be a fun weekend I have wanted to put a small group run together up there for a while in the winter So I would deffinetly be up for something. As long as the old man oks it we have a 2 bedroom cabin with a big loft with 6 beds upstairs so plenty of sleeping area :thumb:
