heres a good one, I think this is were I either snapped my innner shaft (on a 60!) or I stripped out my spool.)

It was an awesome run. A few of us in the area started a new club, Superior 4x4, and it was the first run of the year SOme pretty nasty trails, lots of carnage including
-stripped ring gear (I ran home and grabbed another while my buddy tore his front end apart, back together and running in under 1.5 hrs.)
-blown front drive shaft
-I had a small fire
-I messed up something in my front end
-Unitodd snapped a ball joint
I don't remeber it all. But everyone was well prepared so there was very little down time, continously moving Best run I've been on in years. We all left at 930am didn't get outta the woods till 11:30pm, but of course still managed drinking till 5am!

Nice. :thumb:

Are you still considering 39s or happy with the 37s?

I dunno, I'm having a blast with the 37's cause that motor doesn't notice that they are there much, and its fun, still get stuck and can have a blast anytime I go out. Although she looks a little goofy on the 37's. I'm going to take her over to a buddys house and try out his 39.5 boggers :woot: . We'll see, funding is a little tight again. Any of you guys every gonna come up to the UP this year?

I was hoping to hit McCaslin this month, but I blinked and all my weekends are booked until mid-late June. If y'all have a wet summer we'll go to McCaslin sometime between July 4 and Labor Day. I refuse to travel north on holiday weekends. If it's a dry summer we'll go after Labor Day. I wanna hit McCaslin when it's wet. Been there for snow & ice wet, and been there when it's dry, but not when it's muddy. Mike raves about the sloppy conditions too much for me to not check it out.

I would like to do a UP two-trackin' and camp on the trails kinda run.

set the date mexican. mid september would be best. should we do the U.P. and deal with the DNR or do we just head to canada instead and have no worries.

Canada would be a better option IMO, especially if some Canadians who know the area would be in the group. 1.5 hrs from the Mac' puts you in Canada, and you'd need to go past Marquette to get similar terrain in the UP.. . unless you REALLY like cedar swamps.
