Nothing on there says anything about where any footage was taken.

also the footage was taken in april, which means lots and lots of runoff. Seasonal roads around here get nasty in April.

Don't take this wrong, I'm not flaming but just to clarify;

In the entire state of Michigan (and I'm sure this wasn't in Michigan) there are 2 rules that apply that the DNR can stick you with. Both are subjective and open to interpretation. Both apply to the upper and lower.

One says that a trail must be passible by a conventional 2wd vehicle. The other says that you can not create an errosive condition. There was a letter published by the DNR 20 or so years ago that says the 2wd rule does not apply due to weather conditions and it was really based on snow, not mud. The other arguement is that splashing through water does not create an errosive condition if the water and mud flow back into the low spot and you don't leave ruts.

The difference for the open posted versus non posted applies to ORV's. IE quads and non street legal bikes. If you have a SOS license, you are allowed on any forest road unless posted closed in both upper and lower. However, with the new mapping system coming out, this is changing, as we have seen with the tickets that just happened on the west side of the state. At the moment it's likely those guys will beat the tickets but probably not in the near future.

I don't think you would win the "it's spring and seasonal" arguement with that video. But it sure looked like fun. LOL

BTW, there are a couple license plates shown that should probably be edited out around the 4:20, 4:40 and 6:30 marks.
